READING
Keep a commonplace book
A notebook becomes more useful when it holds questions as well as answers. Write down a passage that stays with you, add where it came from, and leave a few lines for your own response. Returning to an old note often reveals something that the first reading missed.
WORKSPACE
Leave the desk ready for tomorrow
At the end of a working session, clear one small area and write down the next useful action. A specific starting point is easier to return to than a long list of unfinished intentions. Keep everyday tools within reach and put the rest away.
ATTENTION
Take a walk without a destination
A familiar route can still offer something new: a different light, an open window, or a tree changing with the season. Put the phone away for a while and let the pace settle.
